Shiono Koryo Kaisha, Ltd. recognizes the importance of environmental conservation and contributes to the preservation and improvement of local and global environments through its business activities.

Environmental Policy

1. We implement and maintain an environmental management system in business operations.
2. We appropriately identify the environmental impacts of our business activities and work to continuously improve our environmental management system in order to enhance environmental performance and prevent environmental pollution.
3. We comply with environmental laws, ordinances, and other requirements to which we have agreed.
4. To enhance environmental conservation, we promote the following improvement activities and review them through management reviews.
   1. Developing and providing environmentally conscious products
   2. Protecting biodiversity and ecosystems
   3. Reducing energy consumption
   4. Promoting resource conservation and recycling
   5. Reducing waste entrusted to external treatment providers
   6. Managing chemical substances appropriately

5. We ensure that all employees fully understand this Environmental Policy and work to raise environmental awareness throughout the company.

• Renewal of Wastewater Treatment Facilities

  Jul-24
  We renewed the wastewater treatment facilities at our Osaka Office, which had been in operation for half a century. Because the previous facilities had an open structure, they occasionally caused inconvenience to nearby residents due to noise and odor. The new facilities have an enclosed structure and are equipped with enhanced noise-control and deodorization systems, and we believe they will help prevent such issues from recurring.

Sustainability Management System

We have established the Sustainability Management Group and the Sustainability Committee to advance sustainability management. Working across departments, these organizations formulate policies, drive initiatives, and monitor progress in areas such as the environment, quality and safety, supply chain management, human capital, governance, and information disclosure. Through these efforts, we aim to enhance sustainable corporate value.
